+..Ke Sibu dan Mukah Laaaagiii: Episod Unique Ramadhan Flava.+

Ladies & Gents, this is Linut (Mcm nak makan Linux OS hehe). I ate it with umai and sambal belacan. In Brunei it was also known as Ambuyat. The taste? A different yummy i want more food. Hehehe

This is Sarawak's Ramadhan specialty! It's called Bubur Pedas. I thought it was really hot and spicy, but then it tasted like Mama's home cooked lontong. This Bubur Pedas only have loads and loads of vege. I loikeeeee~@!

Alhamdulillah.

Praise to God for what I've finally accomplished today. I sent Greenie to the clinic for his routine medical check up. I was in luck as everything went on sale, even the lube and other things which I don't want to know. Especially the voucher for Greenie's monthly bath. Hahaha...Pemalas betul aku nak basuh keta.

As a continuation for my bzzy month, during the second week of Ramadhan I had to fly to Sibu for a Regional meeting. The whole team had to meet on Sunday for a fab presentation to the SM on Monday the 8th. Speaking of preparation, man...! The Otais of the region really freaked the inexperienced moi. Now I really understand (after loads of meeting and speaking The Jargons) what they were talking about...fooh! Amazing team, I got! Alhamdulillah... (An opportunity to learn fast).

In Sibu, we managed to book RH Hotel in spite of the last minute meeting arrangement. Compared to Tanahmas, RH's lobby was huge with a black grand piano and err..the ever so obvious Hijau Lounge. Heh. The room was humble and cosy but a little big for moi.

For RM165, when Tanahmas is fully booked, we'll choose this hotel.

The ever so inviting pool! Lucky I didn't bring my swim suit. Pakkal puasa...huhuhu

Well,

Remember the hell road all the way to Mukah last time?
It was sure as hell that Mukah Road still made me flew in the car, especially during fasting time, with an empty tummy. I nearly throw up all my tummy fusioned kurma and Milo all the way from Sibu to Mukah in Pat's rusty ole Hilux.

This time it was Sept 10th.

Luckily my stay in Kingwood Inn compensated the hellish experience to Mukah. Little that I expected that the newly opened inn was well, beyond my imagination. Only that my sahur was given 10 minus prior to azan subuh, without my fruits. Well, itu je rezeki aku, kan. hehehe.

Surpised! Kingwood Inn in Mukah got flat screen, baby! With that Satellite channels from Indon (bah!). Err..notice the absent mini fridge?

Timber Flooring that impressed me, as soon as I walked in here. Mukah lil town got this fab place to stay (and after all that uncomfortable near-puking road experience!)

Big comfy bed where I can rest my aching err..behind and head (due to flying and bumping all over the car for the hell road)

A touch of modern zen ambience which err came with cheapo China made products. Bawah sinki tu bocor, bai! Hehehe~@!

Another wise space utilization. But frankly, I hate the bathroom door. Heheh. And I wish they installed the big rain shower instead of the filmsy one. But hey RM115 per night, tak payah komplen la. :p

We did our iftar with Sarawak-wide fishermen association at kampung Melayu Mukah. The gang comprising my Boss, Pat, Is, Amat and Amo was there to experience the Mukah kampung styled iftar.
I was amazed how clean this kampung was!

Keladi asam pedas, but I noticed there were less batang keladi yg lazat itu, tapi isi dia. Err..sapa rasa isi keladi sedap, pasti suka lauk ini. But I passed.

The nang nyaman mixed vege

It was fabtastilicious (sukati la aku nak panggil apa) kampung food I've ever tasted in Sarawak! Haji Yusof and Mrs was a wonderful hosts! Alhamdulillah...syukran.

Pictures speak for itself.

I think, I never loss a kg during Ramadhan. Hehehe...tak peduli! Rezeki Allah bagi tu, jangan dipersiakan. Cuma makan jgn melampau jelah, ye tak?

+..Bulan yang Paling Sibuk~@!..+

Poison letter from Israeli children to dead Palestinian Children

Bulan puasa takkan nak sibuk?"
Aku jawab balik, "Aih! Bulan Ramadhan ni lah zaman Nabi dulu pergi Perang tau! Apa sangatlah busy saya ni haa..."
Hehehe...

Bulan Ramadhan bulan yang kena kerja overtime, jangan buat sekadar separuh masa, tapi overtime! Kalau selalu solat fardu cun cun lepas doa sambung buat kerja, apa sangatlah kiranya kita buat solat sunat qabliyah dan ba'diyah?
Malam lepas terawikh, sebelum tidur, tengok balik tafsir Quran, apa yg kita baca tadi?

Oppps!

Everything we do is being controlled remotely by syaitan. Jangan tak tahu bahawa nafsu kita pun makhluk Allah juga. Kalau tak didik nafsu, nanti nafsu yang kuasai kita. Padahal kita tuan dia. Sebab itulah aku kalau berbuka, aku masak. Aku tak pergi ke bazaar, takut membazir. Bukannya sedap mana pun...

Alhamdulillah...

1. Spagheti ayam keju dan ayam goreng

2. Begedel daging dan sayur campur

3. Nasi goreng cendawan pedas dengan keropok Ganu, beserta cekodok bawang ikan bilis rangup

4. Mihun sup daging dan mihun goreng pedas
5. Sotong goreng tepung and broccoli rebus butter. (haah!

"Mana kau tahu?"

"sebab kau rajin masak and panggil kitorang makan"

"Yelah, makan sorang dah berbaloi la beb"

Oh! Sori ye. Gambo takde sbb malas aku nak amik gamba. Orang nak buka lagi, nak solat lagi...kuaser nak ambik gambar. Kat opis aku sepanjang Ramadhan ni jam 4 pm dah balik. Macam family dah kitorang (sebab aku rindu famili aku)

By the by, pejam celik pejam celik, dah pun 6 bulan lamanya aku di Kuching mencari rezeki. Alhamdulilah...

" List down what you have learnt/ acquired for the past 6 mths & also list areas that you need to be coached in the coming mths to enhance your competency. Complete form 4 discussion tomorrow
"
Sms dari Boss aku di KL.

Wahahaha...aku ingat Boss dah lupakan aku masa dia pegi meeting ke KL dari 15 hb hari tu. Kebetulan HR sana call aku pasal suruh sain surat revision which I never received. Macam work backwards pulak. Heheh...apa apa pun, aku dah mintak mama dan baba doakan aku dapat confirm. Kalau tak confirm pun, maknanya, belum rezeki lagi, tambah je lah 3 bulan probation, hehehe...apa nak risau? Yang bagi Yes or Postponed and Deferred (for a better package) itu Allah. Allah kan Maha Kaya, Maha Pemurah mintak aje padaNya.

Pagi tadi mintak pendapat abah pasal dia biasa mengkomfemkan orang dulu.

"Jangan kamu letak still learning/ still trying pulak...form macam tu kena masuk bakul angkat sendiri. Kalau tidak, elok jadi fresh grad staff aje..."
Abah pesan.

Rupanya Boss aku tak dapat masuk opis tadi. Dia suruh aku emel je. InsyaAllah as soon as dia emel kat HR about my job confirmation tu, HR akan bagi surat pada aku. Mintak mintak Allah perkenankan doa aku nak hapuskan riba. Tapi kan, kalau ada yg bijak lagi terroris kat luar tu, cuba you all bayangkan, cemana nak beli rumah tanpa interest? Nak beli cash tak mampu. So how? Ada idea ke? Hmm...daripada aku fikir camni, elok aku baca tafsir.

My question will be answered naturally later once I'm ready to buy my own home sweet home.

20 Hari dah berlalu...

10 Hari lagi nak ucapkan selamat tinggal Ramadhan,
Oh! Jelesnya kat Taro sbb dia peok awal awal. Bolehlah dia lipatgandakan usaha mencari Malam Lailatul Qadar...Oh! Sedihnya aku..Aku harap peok aku cepat habis.

Macammanalah agaknya Umat Islam Palestin menjalani ibadah di bulan Ramadhan ye? Sedih aku bila memikirkan kekejaman Yahudi kat sana. Nabi pun dia sanggup bunuh dan fitnah...apa lagilah manusia biasa. Kan best kalau aku jadi warga Palestin kan? Senang nak mati syahid kerana Allah.

(Al-Qur’an Al-Kariim, Surah Al-Baqarah: 120)

+..Kalau Dah Berhajat..+

Popia ini tidak hensem lagi kiut.
Tapi alhamdulillah hajat nak kasi Mak Enot dah pun terlaksana dengan izin Allah.
Mak Enot takde kat rumah, tapi Yati ada, so aku kata sharing is caring. Pandai pandailah dia simpan sikit tok mak dia lepas sungkei ngan jiran dia tu.

Aku masak puluhan popia jugak la. Sempat mandi lepas tu, solat and bawak Obit speeding ke Siol Kandis (ye. nama Kampung tu macam tu. Jangan konar ye!). Amazingly dalam 15 minit aku sampai. Heheh..Balik umah je, sempat buat Milo and buka. Alhamdulillah...

Isi dia ikut resipi Mamaku.

1. Udang dicincang halus (aku pakai 15 ekor udang saiz M)
2. Bawang besar seulas juga dicincang
3. Sengkuang ikut ler banyak mana udang tu
4. Mix Vege
5. Garam secukup rasa (ni kengkadang aku fail salunya terlebih hehehe)

So gaul semua dan bungkus lam kulit popia. Gamkan dengan telur. Satu lagi kan, aku fail bab melipat lipat ni. Thats why aku benci bungkus gift. Heheh. Malas. Kalau Taro and Piko ada, aku serah tugas gulung popia ni kat diorang.

Rupa popia ni memang fail. Tapi rasa dia, bagi tekak aku alhamdulillah sedap. Aku ingat akan terlebih garam lagi macam aku masak apatah hari tu. Maklumlah posa kan..(Orang kata terlebih garam maknanya orang nak masuk minang, ye? Helleh, orang dah banyak kali termasinkan lauk takde pun sorang manusia nak?)

"Ala, Pa tau awak suka masak, kan..."
"Cemana Pa tau?"
"Sebab...emmm...sebab...."
" Sebab apa?"
"Sebab awak tembam! Awak suka makan kan?"
"Hehehe...yelah agaknya. Tembam yek...hehehe" Gelak goling goling
"Untungla sapa dapat awak kan? Sebab tu la, Pa carik orang cam awak...sebab Pa ni kurus!"
"Ala...Pa kalau tembam pun best apa. Mesti lagi comel cam beruang teddy"
"Badan Pa tak pandai tembamla. Puas dah makan ha..kurusss jugak"

Pa = Azim. And he never fail to call me every sahur and iftar. Suka no tanya kita makan apa. Sebab dia pun hantu makan gak! Elemek bahaya ni kalau dah orang kata aku tembam. Masa kat KL aku slim sikit.

Hahahah.. (I miss buka posa with them all! Uhuhu). Tak feel ler buka tak berebut rebut..

pp/s: Esok aku fly ke Sibu. Boleh sungkei umai! Wuhuhuhu..Pastu, ada buka posa ngan customer and SM aku. Tulatnya, majlis buka posa Kuching, dingdongnya (selepas tulat apa ek?) majlis buka posa Product Handling aku kat Mukah. kedebak kedebuknya (selepas dingdong) buka kat Sibu lagi! Wahahah makin tembam la aku jawabnya. Wahhaha...~@! - pedulik apa aku. Aku memang suka makan! Lallalala~@! Happy happy joy joy

+..Ramadhan Al-Mubarak..+

Alhamdulillah dah 5 hari kita pose ek?

Besides fasting to observe the underprivileged around us, it is a month to look forward to for these reasons:

1. Tadarus wif frens/ family - usually our reading of Quran will be checked by them, so that we'll learn
2. Terawikh (usually I do this alone in my room)
3. Can go home 30 minutes earlier. My office here still have the 1 hour break at noon! How cool is that! This is the time for us to do tadarus.
4. The only time for me to wear baju kurung nearly everyday during Ramadhan hehehe (remember: I'm not a baju kurung gal)
5. The only time to shed off some pounds - fast!! my tummy has already flatten, I can turn my skirt around my waist 360 degrees so easily and I can feel that I'm lighter now. For just 5 blardy days!!!
6. Do loads of things that I was unable to do during one third of the night
7. Reflection on self. Do loads of prayers and du'as.

During iftar, I usually go for:

1. A not so lembik date
2. Hot tea
3. One kuih lengkong Makcik Fiza
4. Quarter potion of rice + lotsa veges that Mom cooked OR
5. one or two small slices of murtabak ayam Seksyen 8 Shah Alam
6. Luke warm water / chilled ribena

I notice I'm not keen on eating much. While during sahur, I usually go for a date, Milo, very little rice wif fried fish + vege. I usually have a cuppa warm water before Imsa'. I had to eat as Mom already cooked for us since 4 am. Its a pity to see the freshly cooked meal left untouched. So I *had* to eat it. I remember those days when I did my iftar and sahur alone...uhuhu...terharunye daku. Sayang mama!

When one eats lightly, one tends to do loads of things easily and less sleepy. Until...
until one gets her period! Hahahahah! LOL

useless crap la this one.
i'm in a crappy mood.

+..A spoonful of honey..+

THE PAIN THAT COULD KILL

I was very sickly last Thursday, as i had double whammy illnesses, diorrhea and gastricitis. Both of which made me threw all my sahur food like those fire hoses thru the front exit and leaking pipe thru the back. Great combi huh!

That good Thursday morning, when I was having my fave tongkol pindang, a Johor delicacy with a pinch or two cili padi ( raw, and you break it to half for more flavour) and sambal ikan bilis...mom already warned all of us (inc. dad and Piko) to take a spoonful of honey before eating. As I was lazy to open the tight lid, i kept on eating...and gobbled all my sahur with a glass of frothy milk. Lazat! I continued my work til 615.

I reached the office by 720 and already printing all the necessary docs to present to my new Big Boss as the project will only be approved by him. By 745 he was in and we talked about it with great details (inc. some other topics that a bit off). He was his usually bubbly self, spilling his ideas on paper and continued talking and listening to my own input. Then, i was in excruciating pain...as if someone ripped my inner tummy lining off and brought it all up nearing the heart (or issit that bad?). I felt like dying...

I had to excuse myself as The New Big Boss already saw my face tightened and already felt like crying...

I ran down the ladies and you can guess the comic relief there...every intermittent minutes (about 5-7 mins?) i felt the pain jolting my veins and i had to crunch the tummy to make it less painful. But it didn't. So i wailed silently.

The doc nearby said it's angin (wind?). well its gastricitis which i rarely get. Especially in the month of Ramadhan. This must be the twang of that pindang, sambal and milk. A total No-No for sahur. I went home with extreme difficulty to steer Obit while holding on. I took all the drugs to lessen the pain but the effect only worked about half an hour later. There goes my fast...

I was probably in coma 3 hours later when i heard Dad's and Piko's voices. Dad was home at 1600? That early? I learnt that both Piko and Dad were having the same double whammy like i had too.

How about Mama, you asked?

Thanks to Allah. She was the only one who survive the catastrophy. She was the one who made herself busy that day preparing good iftar food for the sick family and ran around to make sure we had our meds and wore our socks and rub hot oil behind the knees.

How on earth she was spared then? I guess, with a spoonful of honey she took that morning, with a salawat and with the name of Allah...God forbade the two sickness on her. Imagine...only a spoonful of honey.

I called in sick again the day after just to make sure I didn't shat my undies. Well, i nearly shat in them while I was with the New Boss and while waiting agonisingly at the clinic...That night all of us had high fever. Great! Now that's what I called a Great Ramadhan sickness combo!

So, children, take only a spoonful of honey for a healthier you...
Ciou~@!

+..Final audit Day in Tawau! 29th Sept..+

Finally,

Kak Sab was crying with joy for today's work. mana taknya, when she was away, her second child was having fever. Poor working mother like her. Poor single woman like me ( i want to have my own kids, ok). Bah! Anyway, we were transported with a different higher land cruiser *turtle* this time. Lucky both of us wore slacks so we actually had to climb up with so much effort due to the absence of a simple stepper. We finally exchange this turtle with a D-Max. Har har...maklomlah kaum-kaum comel kan...

Today we were stationed at TRO where we last discussion are needed to wrap up the findings on both standards. I, meanwile, were struggling to type as fast and having to summarise the long-non-stop statements uttered by the disgruntled scholar. bah! Can't you just shorthened your speech, sir?

So from 10:15 - 3:00 pm, I was bogged to do reports in a lovely format to be viewed during our closing meeting by all the estate managers and their big bosses. The room has English ambience in it. The walls are nailed with ancient pictures during the English settlements. It was historic! I got to see the ancient topo map for the whole estates...

At 3pm, i stopped to rest and handed the lappie to Kak Sab for her closing. I took my own liberty for my own sweet time and talked to B. He sounded like he was sick or something...well...really need to see him as soon as I'm in KL. poor botak bf of mine...

From 330 - 530pm, the meeting ended. There goes Kak Sab's and my plan for a *pasar gantung* or the friendly local market nearby BMP. It was just a stone throw away less than 5 mins walk. But due to time constraint...we abandoned ship and luckily Pn. CT and Ainina already bought us amplangs, fresh prawns, crabs and fish (for minimal payment je..)and oh yes! free kedondong from Abaka's fertile ground! We couldn't thank them enough for their hospitality and kindness and patience when we raised non-fulfillments...but well..these are good people...will miss Mak Mah the most for her cooking!

We rushed back with a sedan now and quickly took shower, change to baju kurung and Asr' prayer before their open air iftar session at BMP. Man! the food varies, lotsa seafood, veges, roast lamb, desserts, ABC...steamboat and stuff. I managed to share plateful of food with Kak Sab. Huehue..kang kambang balik badan, bah! Can see that my face is narrowing thin. Hehehe...Best best i feel so jelita mwahahhaa.

At the ladies table, we heard estate ghost stories and other stuff as well...chitty chatty for another hour after our Maghrib prayer ( bangga gak when Pn Ct the SM chose my room), we ended the iftar in good hope. Exchange kind words and asked for forgiveness during our tenure there. Maklomlah kan..manusia ni tak perfect.

Back in my room, I changed to my pajama, re-packed my bag for the goodies, recharged my fon and watched 2 movies that nite eventho my eyes were already heavy. I watched School of Rock and Paycheck before finally succumbing to a deep blissful sleep (where i met B, :p).

By 715 the next morning, we were off to Tawau airport and back in KL by noon (and B picked me up, and i bought him a square yellow sign - Proboscis Monkey Ahead 500 m- ehehheh) Dan-dan masa tu jugak nak gantung kat Ranger dia.

Huh...thanks to AL for convincing my immediate boss for me to go for a full audit observation. My experience and what I've learned are totally priceless!

+..Day 3 (28th Sept)..+

Today we started the day at 7am as the team needed a round-up discussion of findings. Dr. R unfortunately woke up late and we had another 15 mins delay. The last two days, he left his laptop underneath the meeting table and his expensive shoes in another car. i wonder what will he do today? Ehehhe...

Today's trip was another eye opener. Someone previously said as a-matter-of-factly, that our client will definitely full of NCRs. Well, he definitely swallowed what he said to them today. I felt like slapping his mouth and said, "Eat this". Lucky my self control was at its peak. muwahahah...
At this new estate, the handsome manager in charge was implementing their own composting ground. It is manned with
3 big plower machines amounting to three Merce SLKs! From afar, it looked like corpses...(hantu pocong ehehhe). I was truly amazed with their effort and R&D was being carried out to elevate the mineral contains necessary. Their new mill meanwhile was not fully run as they have just begun their operation in April. We went up Tiger Hill with 4WD and the area was breathtaking! As Dr. Y put it, the area was not conducive for oil palm trees as it was more than 30 degrees slope. It is maintained as cocoa planting area. Nice! The view and my phone had full bar signals! yay! I managed to call B while he was busy (mwahaha) and we had a coupla minutes talk.

The Tiger manager, as we named him was what its name suggested. He was a good manager who knows his ground very well. We visited the estate and witnessed the harvesting and
spraying activities. There, I learned about Bugis women who happened to be the sprayers. When we asked them whats the use of their small lovely parang (with carvings), the Tiger manager said, "oh! you know they won't use it for anything...it will be with them as a culture like the traditional Bugis women who brought along their small parang for their own protection..."
No wonder ler...lawa bah parang kau ni..and Dr Y eyes were wide opened as he's a parang collecter. Another side of Dr. Y besides having a vast knowledge of forestry and environment. I happened to practice my Sabah dialect here but it was slightly different from KK's..oh well...

I learned alot from my team as well...how they asked questions, how they see things..and their own personality.
Egotistical, humble, friendly and willing to share their knowledge. i have my own personal favourite as teachers...

On the afternoon session after visiting the estate's office for another records findings...Mr. H brought us to the original Tawau hospital where we got to see
some Operation Theater (OT) antiquities..Man! I was deep to view the old scalpels, the odd horror looking OT table and whatchamallits in there! And the rare 1930s-1950s books! Whoohoo precious to nerdo like moi! The manager also brought us to see ancient Japanese graveyards and the morgue. (gory huh? they were joking about bringing in the Seekers, bah!). Later the most anticipated trip was to Taman Bukit Tawau and Taman Bombalai, both are National Reserve forests. We witnessed how our client buffered their plantation area and the entrance. Mr. Roslizan the friendly ranger showed how they marked their forest using red paints onto their trees.

We were then brought to witness the
full blossoms of rare forest orchids! It was indeed a marvellous trip...i got to snap few piccas with my handphone. And again, i miss B so much as he's an ardent photographer with his Nikon D70s DSLR...bah! if only I could come here again with him...

All the estate managers asked us to join them for their iftar session with their Director. What to say? Makan Free lagi maa...(with that clothes already stuck to your skin and our bodies smelt like goat - we had no choice but to go along).

~~~~~~~~~~~~~Advertisement~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
All of us reached BMP around 8 ish, took my long bath again and slept like a baby. Until B called me up...eheheh he was about to meet Amin to share some knowledge. thats what i love about him, he's never stingy with any knowledge he has...crazy, garang, perfectionist, caring, classical guitar playing, good photographer, outdoor lover, good in cooking, sports playing, creative, goodwith computers, at the same time, jgnla cuba nak berhujah about religion with him, especially if your knowledge is peanut like mine...he's above par in that area. Uwaaaaaa~@! Lama tak ngedet Boe nih...
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~END~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Tomorrow will be our last day in Sabah. I returned B's call for him to fetch me and send me home. eheheh...Windu nye..

I noticed our sahur during the fifth day at BMP was already returning to its first day menu. So i only ate 2 pieces of toasts and fruits...

+..Tired but it rocks! DAY 2..+

Day 2:-

Yesterday, due to a much hyped Proboscis Monkey and 3 bottles of 600 ml Mud bottles - thanks to my excited loud mouth, everybody went seeking the two places(err, they gave it to me, betul...) we had to break fast at KGTI. Wooh! I love breaking fast at this part of the world as the time was only 1805!

Mak Mah the local cook made deliciously finger licking good ikan tongkol asam pedas and sweet and sour fried crab. We also had vege soup and home made cendol. There were also cream puff, sweet Bugis kuih and lepat. After all that worthy trip deep in the estates to see environmental buffer zone, that smelly sludge pond that stuck to you for hours and interesting plopping mud volcano? priceless...

Day 2, I pledge Kak Sab to wake at 4am instead. I was dead tired, and muscle went limb like jello after my long bath and applied mud on the face. Instead of watching TV, i dozed off like a baby. I even forgotten to call B afterwards since the time was not reflected correctly to me (still confused on semenanjung time and sabah's)

For Sahur, there was fried buttered prawns, much to my anticipating cholesterol thingy! And meehoon. Completed my round with coffee. Yummy. Then off to iron my clothes and dozzed another hour. This time, Pak Amran came at 630.

The things to see during this trip was another objective evidence prior to RSPO such as pesticides handling and storage, to witness harvesting and spraying activities, and guess what...hiking up a 1.2 km hill to see another buffer zone! In fasting month! can you imagine? Lucky I was so used to this compared to Kak Sab. But unlucky for me, the only place to get a better phone signal was at the peak, where there stood a two flights tower overlooking the estate. Bah!

We went down for a slippery and pacat infested area. The boot is made for this...ehehhe...then off to another mill to see another documents for records. This was the time for my eyes to cross and head spinning like crazy. I steal some time to rest at the comfy sofa while ears were listening to every details (tak percaya, kah?). It was not just me, but also Kak Sab, Dr. Rusli, Ainina and Dr. Zul. Ehehhe...it was a mistake to climb the hill during fasting month ler...

Meanwhile the afternoon session went a bit Ok..eventho my eyes were crazily trying to shut and i was crazily fighting it off...Hj Zen's place was a bit interesting as I saw younger men. Ehehehe...at least, to keep myself looked cool. (",) At least on the second day, we got some time to shower and shut our eyes for 15 mins at the lovely KGTI rest house ( i swear if there's a decent phone signals there, this is THE place for me to spend the night). Then off to yet another iftar session with Mak Mah's specialty - ayam masak kunyit, sambal ikan tenggiri, vege soup with homemade fishball and the most craving drink while we were up the hill - pandan coconut drink!

Kak Sab had to entertain another estate client for their closing of NCR, and err a OK looking guy too. So I have to wait till she finishes the thing and went back to BMP with Pak Amran. This time, i was seated at the front as the scholars were off earlier with another 4WD. Yay!

Got to call B before he went off for Terawikh, he told me his gastric worsen and affected the whole family, saying its pandemic in his housing area. What? gastric - pandemic? nay! it must be from your water source, B. Its contaminated! Uhuhu, asked him to take the gastric pill for sahur, but i know he will definitely forget to take it (or intendedly forgotten).

That particular nite, amazingly my eyes were wide open. I took the opportunity to write my findings report while the TV was tuned for Kaseh Ramadan and Tribe. I slept not later than 12 am.

Kept reminding self that sahur session will be at 4 am. Uhuhu...

.::Bila perempuan mengantuk Blogging::.

huehue...lantak aku rojakkan bahasa muahahha!

just got back from Azura's. I was darn sleepy (borak2 until jam empat sahur sekali baru tido) but have to supervise paman n bibik to clean up the whole pod. itupun after paman buat wake up call, " Naz, kat mana?" "alamak!!! dah pukul berapa ni, paman?" "dah jam 8 lebih" "ok ok lagi setgh jam anaz sampai" tgk jam dah pukul 9 arghh! mana taknye, umah zura tuh dah la gelap, and punyela best sbb ada aircon. ha.ha. aircon + hujan + ngantok = layan!. Maklomla, umah aku tak pakai air-con. so, kesedapan tido tu fuhh amat nyaman dan lazat la kan.

Balik umah, mmg komfem la bantai hi-way. tak ske org tunggu kita, sedangkan kita mintak tolong dia. heheh komfem setngah jam dah sampai. aku sampai umah je, punyela efisyen nyer both of them, my front yard dah bersih! huehue pokok bunga kertas yg horror tu pun dah comel. huehue terharu sungguh. bagi salam and mintak maaf, eventho sleepy, aku angkat semua carpet n tikar2 sarawak sidai kat luar. basuh pinggan mangkok and sidai balik baju yg tak sempat kering. bladibla, kasik list of things to do kat bibik, aku naik atas, BLOG!

My main problem kat umah ni ialah CICAK durjana. yupp! i wanna kill all those lizards! berak bersepah-sepah! argh!!! KILL KILL DIE DIE...cemana ha nak hapuskan derang nih! tension betul.

mana la mampu nak kemaskan the whole pod atas bawah depan belakang. Puasa maaa...ari tuh kemaskan dapor je dah half day sebab byk termenung cemana nak setelkan bende2...cuci langsir, cuci placemats, bladibla...jemur bantal2, jemur carpet and tikar2 sarawak yg bagak n berat, cuci baju...argh! last2 end up aku termenung jap, last2 tau2 je aku tgk tv surfing channels...tgk 24 la, hallmark la, discovery channel la...

last2 dah jam 3! uwaaaaaaa kain tak kering lagi (sbb cuci lambat, bgn lambat, termenung byk). and i still hafta meet up zura gi shopping barang nak masak. last2 end up aku gi giant terus. tak sempat cos eventually aku tukar menu dari sambal tumis udang to begedel tatau nape. Zura plak nak wat daging black pepper n paprik ayam. and aku nak makan cendawan sup ikan bilis aku. aku bershopping cam dlm amazing race. semua dalam otak, dlm 20 minit siap shopping. huehue..punyalah nak kejar masa. sbb aku tau begedil ni lama sikit nak dibuat.

sampai umah zura, terus aku gi dapur dia buat bhn2 begedil. dah dekat nak jadik bulat2, baru aku gi solat asar teruk betul! tup tap azam and shey dah dtg. bebudak lain ajak datang memasing busy plaks. so apa yg ada la eh...itupun makan tak habis. zura sempat buat telur sambal tumis dia lagi, Oza datang bwk kuih tako (seperti tepung pelita tapi ada keledek eh? - lazat, and choc fudge dia, azam n shey bwk murtabak ngan karamel ngan bread pudding. lepas maghrib sambung lagi makan ice cream! huehue...talking about indulgence...yummy yum yum.

malam tu all us gals gi lepak carik teh tarik mamak kat seksyen 7, (setelah berdiskusi hal2 politik, cerita2, gosip and perkmbgn semasa ngan shey). kat seksyen 7 pulak hal2 kaum wanita ehhehe..best nyer lepak. Kat table tuh, kat Nikmat tu, aku, Oza n Zura dah pun sepakat on one thing. Ehehehe...Inas, we really miss you. kalau ada tugede2, komfem meriah. Saja pilih Nikmat kat Seksyen 7 tu pasal cuci mata best ehehhe.

so today...aku lethargic zombie. sedar tak sedar tinggal lagi seminggu lebih nak posa. hisk...terawikh aku buat tak sampai 2 minggu. teruk betul..mama nak balik 29 hb. huehue best nyer. make sure rumah squeaky clean n smells nice. kuih raye dah order. baju raya, hmm kain yg dah lama beli dekat 3 tahun tuh, tgh dibuat baju kurung. pakai itu je. upah baru RM27 siap piping. nothin much to look forward to for raya except being with ALL my family, mama, abah, piko, Dilot, Taro n Effi. itu je.
adehh, really miss my family...nasibla aku cuti dari 28 nih - 7 Nov nih. huehue padan muko opis. sapa suh tanak kasik bonus kat staff.

.::recapitulation-part deux::.

Saturday?

After Subuh, I slept again only to woke up 15 mins to 10. Called up Taro as I promised her to go to Sg Wang. As what KL-ite normally do, we took LRT from KJ to KL Sentral, then the monorail to Imbi. Pretty kewl to go about town huh? But I was pretty lethargic to walk around, so hungry and so lembik, I just sat on the bench and waited for Taro to do whatever was necessary. huehue...

For Iftar, i cooked my own mee suah with prawns, fishball n fishcake. Ate a piece of *fresh popia* that Taro bought for moi and gobbled it down with a glass of cold coconut juice. hmm..not bad. Mom called to check what I ate for Iftar and reminded me to meet Nenek.

At nenek:-
I asked nenek on how she's doing. Sedekah my two uneaten popias (ala, just put on the dining table) and went to nenek's room. I asked her why she said she was unwell so I gave her a massage. I hope the blood will circulate better. Gave her a glass of warm water, heighten her legs position and made sure she's warm and comfy with her blanket. Promised nenek to massage her again tomorrow (huehue it IS tomorrow!)

Kissed both her cheeks and performed my Isya'. I cried. I love my nenek...while massaging her legs, I remembered massaging arwah atuk. He always asked me to massage him whenever he had difficulty with his bowel movement. I cried. I cried cos I miss him so much. never forget to sedekah Al-Fatihah to him...Atuk, you knew me very well. Thank you for changing my life to be a better person, for motivating me to achieve higher in my studies and for believing in me. (and still remembers Atuk asking me to choose Obit instead of Kenari - he even dared me to buy Kembara!!)

Anyho,
ALL is well. My Obit have been filled with a RM51.55 worth of fuel, dirty and needs a good service. Better ciou now, tummy wanna eat something. am thinking of tuna sandwic for sahur. hungwee! Maybe it's nearing PMS. Usually this wil be the case..oh well...off to the kitchen.

.::recapitulation-Part Uno::.

hmm...
Current Feelings: Love my Granny, miss Arwah Atuk, swelling love to mama n abah, missing ALL my adik badik so much uhukuhuk

Let me recap my event from Friday...since I'm dead bored, alone at home. and now it's clocking 135 am.

Friday Oct 15.

had a vicious-cum-teary argument with someone so dear to me.
i dunno how to handle this. tormented and torn in between to move on and yet my other leg is still left behind. somewhere. some place. maybe as far as 300 km?
I pray for his happiness and success. I don't want to do something that will make his heart break everytime i should move on and live life as it is now. God! this is tough. Anyho, went back early to cook for my buka puasa open house for friends. Sahril, Lan, Gja and Oza. yg lelain tuh, mintak maaf tak ajak, ok? insyaAllah next time. or prob. Raya maaa...
NOTE TO SELF: DON'T give Kak Ariza choc as she has migrain related to eating chocs.

5 ish
Reached home. found out Bro won't be coming home at all since he'll be buying his new flat screen to replace his *sentimental value* 19 " Sony monitor which he bought in UK. 6-goddem years man! well, monitor yg dua bijik tu nak buat hape? paper weight?
- anto Sahril gi masjid, aku shoot balik for that daging masak kicap with crinkled fries and udang goreng tepung.

6ish
argh! nasi tak masak lagi! owh noo- hafta masak 4pots. nemind sempat lagi. masak air. nak buat batter udang tepung lagi. uwaaa! where's my maid? oh! I forgot she will be here only if i asked her to, itu pun for cleaning up the whole house. okay don't panic.

Then Lan came and directly went to the kitchen for his ala naked chef in action. He cooked the so called infamous Ayam Goreng tauchu? bladibla (unfortunately no pix are snapped due to the kelam kabutness). Then Gja came with her fruits huehue mangoes, i like! and some muffins and hazelnut cake. Then Oza came with her drinks.

a minute before breaking fast...
Lan was still stirring his chicken's gravy
Me was busy frying the prawns - golden n crisp
Gja was still skinning some mangoes and pears
Oza was trying to find my pitcher eheheh
Sahril - alone kat buaian...hmmm

We buka puasa lightly with dates and some drinks, then solat, then me n Gja continued with frying the omellete and me, cook some broccoli with butter and salt(Effi you miss this, surely?).. Then we had a proper dinner where Lan promoted his dish so dat it looked more laku than mine. wekkk

Sent Sahril to the commuter, Lan n Gja to BSD to fetch some yummy dendeng (which later he gave a portion to me). huehue mmg sodap!! i ate with a lil portion of left over nasik. yummy yum yum.

::Psychotic Encounter::

Last nites buka puasa event at my own office premise was mediocre, everything from food to the whole get-together thingy. I was seated with Ms Vogue and Pwincess who chatted animatedly as we have not met each other for quite some time. This is the only time to exchange stories and sizzling tell-tales. Ooh! Was this one considered as a gossip?

Pwincess asked me if I'm still active with my charity group. I said so and so as I have slowed down quite a bit. She asked me whether I know anybody name Ms. Paranoid (nama terpaksa dirahsiakan), cos this Ms. P said she knows me. Such small world! Wait til I text my buddies about this, thee hee hee.

Ms. Vogue squeezed in the conversation when she said,
*What? Ms.Paranoid, my long-time school enemy?*
Pwincess said, *Well, no. But this Ms. Paranoid have the same attitude as your *enemy*
Ms Vogue simply shrugged, *Kau ni Pwincess, semua musuh orang jadi kawan kau*
Hey! Pwincess how come your path crossed hers?
*She was my college-mate and I befriended her cos’ she had no friend at all last time. Even though she was so insensitive when I was still grieving for the loss of my father and called me wee hours in the morning, she still needs someone to talk to…*
For this statement, a standing ovation and salutation for Pwincess for becoming the ZOPFAN gal! Yay! Good gal, she is indeed.

Well, I cannot totally recalled Ms. P at first but when Pwincess mentioned *gettugeder* with my group, then a bulb suddenly lighted. Aha! THAT Ms. Paranoid..Yeah I know her. She has this intriguing, annoying, inconsiderate, insensitive and self-centred attitude to start with. Hmm, Pwincess said she agreed with that, but kept her *friendship* with Ms. P anyway. Pwincess began her story when this gal sought her shoulder to cry on when Ms. P encountered a shattering uneventful night. She said, Ms.P was trying to call her Mr.Knight of Shining Armour (a.k.a Mr. N) in vain as his *gedik girlfriend* kept answering her call. Ha. Ha.

Now, that made my get-together an interesting one. Well, Pwincess, FYI, that *gedik girlfriend* was *yours truly*. Pwincess couldn’t believe her ears when I said we actually put a prank every time Ms. Paranoid called Mr. N. You see, that particular night my group was having a meeting cum working. Mr. N was actually relaying his stressful events to get away with Ms. P.

Well, obviously the team noticed that Ms. P was trying so hard to woo Mr. N. She always sought Mr. Ps help in giving some advices, counselling (yeah right) including the endless phone calls late at night and during his busy schedule, asked Mr. P to pick her up and send her home yadda yadda. She related her day-to-day encounters and problems, which brought her to think suicidal act as the last resort. Knowing how subtle, Malay kinda gesture to politely SAY NO, Mr. N was trying to be nice. In fact so nice, he was afraid that Ms. P will commit suicide if he acted/ said wrongly. Like our Malay idiom saying, *Seperti menarik rambut dari tepung, rambut tak putus, tepung tak berselerak - ha.ha Karim Singh Walia melaporkan* He was thinking to get away from her for good after her parents got back from their overseas trip. (Ms. P, is the only child and got the whole house to herself (READ: alone and lonely).

Not only that, Ms. P tried very hard to *get into* the group by forcing us to join her *gettugeder* and the subsequent meetings. She pushed it a little too far by getting a caterer, and in fact invited e.v.e.r.y friends of ours to attend. Then, when the group finally there, she greeted them and disappeared for the whole night. The bunch went home without saying goodbye (as they could not locate the host), mingling only to themselves even though there are other group invited by Ms. P nearby (It happened that Pwincess was there too!) Ms. P also posted a thank you note to everyone who came to her house that night at a Bulletin Board so that her ex-friends (READ: friends who cannot tahan her perangai, thus left her for good) can see how well she was coping with her new friends. Hmm…

I remembered when I first hosted the meeting at home, Ms. P suddenly took a small cushion and baring (laid) in front all of us. I was gob smacked! How could she baring shamelessly in front all of us? So, trying to be nice, I asked her what was wrong? She said she needed a panadol to ease her headache. After giving her what she wanted, I politely asked her to sleep in my room instead. Then 2 hours later when most of the bunch went home, she woke up, walked out from the room and blurted, “Oh! Sorry, I have slept tru the meeting. Did I miss anything?” Like DUHHHHHHHH!!! She even asked me to bring my bros PS2 to her house for the *gettugeder*. Like Hello? Do I really know you? I was just introduced to you less than 4 hours?

Mr. Ns phone rang right after our *sharing-the-experience session*. Yep, it was her number. He tried to ignore her calls but she kept ringing until I had this spontaneous idea to pick up her call and acted as Mr. Ns galfriend. Thee hee hee. Yeah…I was *that* gedik galfriend. Come on! For crying out loud, can’t she took it as a hint that Mr. Ns taken, especially when all our friends that night were excruciatingly in pain not to laugh, as though Mr. N and I were living together (READ: this was just an act, okay?)

What I said to Ms. P, *Owh, my sayang is in the bathroom… Who is this, please*
She simply replied. *A friend* I asked back, *Yeah, but can I know your name?* and she slammed down the phone. How rude! Exactly after I said, *Huh! Marah..dia hempas telefon tuh* the whole bunch roared with laughter. It went on for several minutes until the laugh subsided, only to be continued by another annoying phone call. Heh! You guess…and yep, the promising actress in the making handled the situation pretty smoothly. It took another final call that night that the whole charity friends of mine said, *That’s it! We’re gonna call tonite as the Posto Sayang Menyayang!*

Ms. P, maybe due to a head concussion, made another endless annoying calls to Mr. N the next morning, noon and towards the evening. Hmm..I guessed it does not register to her head that Mr. N is seeing somebody. What can you say if a gal falls head over heels to a bloke? She also *messaged* everybody tru the bulletin board, harassed each one who came to her Gettugeder Nite by relating issues to A, then to B, to C and so forth. My friends then came to a boiling point when they had to take action. Hmm..that concluded Ms.Ps judgement that Mr. Ns gedik galfriend influenced the whole bunch to ignore her existence (that I was jealous of her). Ha. Ha. I felt so influential…even though that was not the actual case.

When Mr. N called later after I text msg him, he cannot stop laughing…
*Nampaknya your acting last time worked!*
*Yeah…but I pity her…* and my other buddy called in too to know the story. Well, buddy…your *best pal* hated you (Pwincess said about how Ms.P’s reaction to my buddy). Its a pity to help this kinda psyco gal to get into our society if she could not mirror what she did. She could not care less and she needs attention so much that it shoo-ed away people who tried to help. It takes people with super big hearts and the greatest empathy to befriend this kinda *problematic* gal. May God help her!!

Unfortunately, I am not one of those (super big heart with greatest empathy)…

::so far::

Dear bloggie,

Today, InsyaAllah genap 3 hari puasa. My iftar had been moderate. I went home, started to rush from 430 p.m. just after Asr' prayer. First day fasting, I had murtabak which I bought at Sect. 8 and a Kelantanese Ayam Percik. As I've guessed, I only managed to finished half the percik, and continued to eat it during sahur. Nope. I haven't been to Nenek's.

What for? If I only bring trouble to the family. Let them break their fast with their adopted daughter. Anyway, there's always this food for him, this food for her, this one for *that*, this one for *there*. Argh! malas. Sulking? yeah you bet. I don't want to end up heartache. I don't want to pretend I'm okay with the idea of eating the leftovers (the untouched food reserved by him or her, this and that) Tak baik. So better to break fast alone at my cosy home. Then later on, I can easily go for Tarawikh at a nearby mosque. I miss break fasting and sahur with my family. At least if Dilot, Taro or Effi is around...huehue!

Sahur had also been moderate. Just 3 kurma and a glass of water. I've been so lazy to go downstairs. So far so good. I can steadfast by this minimal input of food. But those Ramadhan Galore pullover really made me cringe with desire...nafsu nafsi. Those variety of colours, food and taste. well, been there done that anyway. But to waste yourRM60-Rm90 per buffet? I think that's a big waste. AlLah tak suka unless kalau kita makan semua, which is impossible, and BTW, bukan ke kita kena makan ketika lapar, berhenti sebelum kenyang.

Perut penuh = malas = nak tido = tak solat = tak tarawikh= penyakit

Friday ni pulak, we'll go home by 415 huehue...nice! tomorrow hafta pick up Taro. She wants to break fast at Nenek's. Yelah, unless Taro/ Dilot ada, I'm ok. meriah sikit ada own family to find solace at...

::good fengshui?::

the window that my bed is facing, err with my hiking bag, the coffee table and TV.

here's a hint.

if you feel stress, uptight, bored, or anything, try re-arrange your furniture. hey! it works for me. I've re-arranged the whole thing in my room. Probably to get rid of the bad vibes? ehehe...simply i think it's time to change.I need a fresh look. Last time I just cut my hair, or colour it, or change my clothing style. I guess this was the 4th or 5th or maybe more of my habit to re-arrange my room furniture ahahha...

Since Ramadhan is just around the corner, i re-arranged my room to accomodate my lazy mode of going downstairs for sahur. A coffee table is placed in such a way, so that I can put my electric jug kettle, my kurma, and probably some tidbits. My wish now are: to have a mini fridge and to re-paint this room in pastel colour, or maybe to put real wood on my floor, add a dash of style! huehue...
so here goes:-

1. the original bed that faced a blank, boring wall, and a tv was turned 90 degrees to its right. the bed is now facing the big squarish window. ahhh...bestnya...

2. the powder table has been moved to its opposite wall, near the window...more sunshine to light up me face :)

3. the sofa which was being under used (merely to dump my clean, dry clothes is now replacing the tv n the coffee table, its the first thing i'll see when i get into me room. so bleh lepak and read there

4. my small cabinet is now nearing the door. so instead of dumping my hang bag (n stuff) on the sofa, i can put it nicely on this cabinet 'stead. muahhaa genius, am I?

5. my room now looks incredibly spacious ler pulak! but when i open the window, huehue...can feel the cool air rushing in. Why I didn't realise this before, eh?

I now announce my room as my official Lepak Pod! uhuhu! yay!
