+..Beijing, here Aku Datang~@!..+

Wahaha...

Rasa seram plak tengok kat webby China. Ni excerpt:

If you like ice skating, on ordinary streets and lakes, then by all means come between November and February when the temperature rarely gets above freezing. It also snows about twice a year in Beijing, usually somewhere in December or January and no more than 5 inches for sure. The temperature in winter usually ranges from -18 to 5 degrees centigrade, so be sure to pack your ski jacket or you'll have to resort to picking up a fake North Face jacket at the Xiu Shui market. Lowest temperature ever recorded was -27 degrees centigrade.

Giler...Maka akan cukupkah ketebalan jaket Boe itu? Aku tengok org China ni relaks je? Takyah pakai ski jaket pun? Mcm poyo la pulak kan nak beli ski jaket?

Aku pernah gak layan winter kat Amsterdam. Baper lapis baju aku pakai tuh..sampai koyak my red gloves...masukkan tangan ke dalam poket jaket. Tapi lama-lama aku syok je duduk Amsterdam.

Well, as my amnet friends dah cakap, travel light. Lebihkan winter jacket, blablabla...
Hmm..Dunno whether I'll be enjoying or not?

Maybe I should try snow skiing?
So, so long my friends..I'm going off to Beijing from 13 - 17th December. Family holiday. 1 thing for sure. I hate winter. If I ever got a chance to update my travel log, I will. If not, aku hapdet lepas balik sana la yek? Will be writing in manual - pen n notes. Heheheh~@!

Hmm..

Well I guess, I can always buy all those winter clothing kat China, eventho tak Vogue, but it will serve its purpose. To keep me warm.

For as low as USD12, I could get a good ski jacket. Hmmm..

Again, how many bucks do I need to bring? I mean in USD?

Uwaaa~@!

I hate my finances. BIla la boleh jadik kaya nih?

Grrrr~@! (sejuk, kena praktis tido 16 centigrade, opis pun kena pasang all 2 split units air-cond to 16 centigrade - kalau boleh kurengkan lagi hahaha)

.:Malaysia Tanahairku:.

AlhamduLilLah, after a 3 hrs and 40 mins flight back with the Boeing 737 (imagine, domestic plane jah...like going from KUL to Johor or Penang), I reached KLIA around 830ish pm. It was darn cold and the plane food sux. I miss the cute Airbus flight attendants [FA](male le of course) to Manila. Tak maknanya balik KUL dgn flight sejuk nak mampos and food taste like plain water and no cute FA to look and make them busy at. Dahla duduk seblah mat saleh tua. Although he was nice enough to offer me chocs but nahhh...i passed. ehehhe sungguh notty aku ini. Lucky I brought along Memoirs of the Geisha (MOTG) novel.

Sorrylah gang, I can't find any time and money to shop around Manila. The farthest that I went was to Robinson Shopping Complex which reminded me of Selayang Mall near my house. kuikuikui. Imagine a shopping complex that dull and seeing blind men playing band inside the mall instead of our commonly seen blind men band along Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman. Ahuh! You know what I mean.

Maybe Robinson was not located at Makati, the *hype* and *happening* town in Manila. You see, where I stayed, Manila Hotel was located at the original Manila City before it expanded into bigger towns. The Metro Manila so-called. Loads of jeepneys and cars around - more chaotic than in KL, maybe because of their left-hand driven cars...God Knows..

Before my Boss and I checked out that day (30th), we were served lunch by the convention organiser. Take a guess of our special menu that day? ahahah i nearly puked my morning breakfast, learning that a big fat juicy grilled pork was serve at the far end of the buffet table. damn! and it was cut to half. shesshhh...i can't stomach a single food, even salads albeit seeing that *philippino's fave dish*. it was served everywhere, even in the baked beans and omellete.

The night before, Mr. Ramonez the Philippine Exporters Assoc. President bought us dinner at the Heritage Hotel. Our dinner room was equipped with a karaoke facility. whoohoo! While waiting for dinner to be served ( Mr. R ordered some fish, veges, soup and err crispy crunchy yummy looking frog legs), the hosts started a few songs, all oldies and then Nigel started with his rendition of Frank Sinatra's My Way. I sang my fave first song, Eternal Flames by the Bangles. And hey! I gain popularity just by singing a simple chords song. The second song was Trisha Yearwood's How do I live.

Back in KL, hoping Neo will be excited to *hear* me but noooooo-oo, he didn't call nor have a courtesy of sms me. Balik dgn hati yang panas membara, aku terus mendapat demam panas. Mebbe becos of Manila's air (oh yeh stokin aku hilang sebelah, aku rasa Filipino suka stokin aku tuh), maybe becos of missing him. Geram laaaaaa....sampai hati dia buat aku demam, kan! Pepehal pun Doktor already gave me two days MC. whoohooo! So i finished up reading MOTG and lazying around. Now hafta be back at the office, to claim my own money in Manila and blog about it. Huh! Tonite hafta perform the Asmaradana and Nazam Berkasih dances pulak for Company dinner. And still no news of Neo, whether or not he's in S'pore or JB or Penang, God Knows...Better aku hoo-haa with friends lagi like dis. ampeh!

.::WhooHhoOo Manila::.

Dears...

I'm blogging from Manila. The flight was okay. Food was okay. Hotel okaylaaa...since I can't iron my own clothes at the hotel, I have to pay for the pressing service (and sent for my dirtied turtle neck and cargo pants for laundry too). I have to ask the housekeeping for an electric water kettle with *no* coffee nor tea facility, but with that SkyCable, man! I'm not complaininglah! whohhoo I won't miss my fave shows like Desperate Housewives and stuff. I love the four poster bed, and the lounge area. Okayla...for a USD110 kan.

For dinner, my boss belanja me that vege pizza, mushroom soup and garlic bartard? heh whats bartard (nearly sounded obscene to moi) anyway? But pizza hut Manila rocks man! I mean I love that man, Sunday. He was superb, he served us like queens. And i had all that at *Pizza Hut*? Man! You can't get that kinda service in Malaysia's Pizza Hut! We just went to check out what's shopping complex at Robinson's looked like. And It was okayyy laaa....Since SEA Games are happening here, most of the hotel guests are from the SEA countries. Can't wait to see Malaysian athletes, cos I've bumped into some of them on the plane and Zaini from NTV7 was there too.

Out of bored, I accidentally bought a parfum which i longed to buy. It was just a 30 litre bottle. But hey! I can use my credit card here, while flying! Ain't it cool or what? Ala, okayla Neo....since My Miracle nearly finish kan?

Anyho,
Manila are filled with bustling but extra friendly people! They even honked strangers ehhehe...(a lot!). But errr, they served a lotta babi la kat sini. They use left hand driving and well, all I can say was eekkkk oohhh arghHHh quitely. giler ganas gaks macammana diorang ni drive. Like Penangites jugakla ala-ala style driving tuh.

Anyway, Can't wait to get back home ASAP. I miss everybody, Tapi whattodo lah kan, I'm so darn busy.

Sekian laporan merapu dari aku di Manila.

me in amsterdam 8-12 Nov

i'Mmm baCkkk!!!

SELAMAT HARI RAYA!!MAAF ZAHIR DAN BATIN...

yeah i know it's a little bit too late to say that but i was away a week before raya, my cheque to go to Ams was not cleared on the day it s'pose to but i'm back..yep.

DAY ONE

On the first day i breathed Amsterdam air, i ventured Schiphol Airport alone without knowing where to go next. Luckily, Hollanders speak perfect English and dats how i found my hotel in Appololaan street ( i tot my hotel was near the airport). being tricked to take an expensive C240 compressor as my taxi, the hotel was actually in downtown area. i assumed Appololaan street was a posh area, looking at the magnificient bungalows and canals nearby..oh! so beautiful! i was so amazed at their architectures..big windows old fashion buildings...cool air (ahuh! 5 pieces of clothing inc. my long johns)..friendly and helpful Amsterdam ppl...(funny! history told me otherwise)

touched base at the hotel and was depending entirely on the book that i read and a map, i braced myself to Dam Square to hunt for souvenirs. and a lot of tourist attractions are located around the vicinity. still fasting that day, i took a tram that cost me EURO1.60 and acted like a true tourist never shy to ask the tram controller to tell you where the hell is Dam Square. ( the tram actually displayed the street's name, everytime it stops- in DUTCH!!)So the whole day starting around 10 ish up to 4 ish, i was at Dam Square and fortunately found the Red Light District accidentally! I got a chance to peek into the Sex Museum for 2EUR and boy! whatta museum hehehe >:) . I went around and after taking some photos, bought my loved ones some souvenirs (err not THAT from the RLD, ok but from Dam street)..smelled weeds that ppl smoked, i was down tired and jet lagged!!

At the hotel, i took my first shower and tried to nap before breaking fast with my serunding daging, maggi and sandwiches that Ashraff (MAS Steward - tapau-ed me). so nippy nappy and wallah! I woke at 3 am the next day...thinking i was on my bed at home..then i realises that i was still fasting and imagine breaking fast and sahur at the same time aAhhahah!!!

DAY TWO

still up and about and restless, i watched Dutch MTV until Subuh. then i dozzed off again before going to my conference around 11. thought i wanna continued fasting, but the cold made me broke it during lunch time. tawakkal ajelaaa cos i ate veges and salmon and cod fish - with white rice. the conference was ok, i found my 2 consultants from Malaysia and a Singaporean. before it finished at 7, i was back at my room an hour before to sleep (probably still jet lagged!) Christie, my "pakcik" there invited me to experience Briyani somewhere near Leidseplein street. it was so cold that i puffed out some fog...(ye ke fog?) kewl eh...found HRC Amsterdam but pakcik always behaved like pakcik. since Sathis would like to "see" the RLD which i found accidentally yesterday, i never got a chance to go to HRC Amsterdam as the pakciks were walking stiffly, mind went numb (after we were lost to find that RLD- hahaha!)and already i can't feel my own legs and toes.

retired early back in my room, and out of curiousity, i accidentally pushed some Pay TV button which nearly cost 14 EUR. it was s'pose to be a movie channel...but heh...plus that bonus porn channels aHAhhaha..luckily without any sounds...so i was not charged..budus siott! sibbaik takyah baya!! budusss...

DAY THREE

Conference started as early as 9. took my breakfast at Roberto's an Italian restaurant which served plenty of breads, butters, 3 kinds of milk, omellete and cornflakes...then another boring argumentative issues brought up. malas nak citer arr kang jadik report keje plak.at nite, pakcik Christie, Sathis and I met up Christie's friend and we had dinner at another Italian Street somewhere near their hotel. relax! i ate some stupid looking italian rice which i can't stand its taste...and drank plain water.DAY FOURi walked briskly around the hotel compound and breathe my final Amsterdam air....before i went back to Schiphol...before i bought another set of souvenirs for ppl who are dear to moi and before another 12 hour boring flight...11 Nov - 7 amtouched base at KLIA...text P and he immediately text back...thanks P...you mean a lot to me to move on...am always grateful for your tips and help, and concern...hired a Daewoo limo and was asleep as soon as it moved...HOME - the whole family was excited to see me (or was it the souvenirs?) still i missed somebody so much that day...but he doesn't seems to care whether I exist or not...wonder why? he hates my gut? he simply hates me? already bought him something. but he doesn't seem to want to know about me. so why bother?

hmm...anyway...here I am. all refreshed and ready to brace another interesting facts of life.HUJAN EMAS DI NEGERI ORANG, HUJAN BATU DI NEGERI SENDIRI, BAIK LAGI DI NEGERI SENDIRI...

p/s: Tapi kat Mesia panas gilos, traffic gila babas, public transportation sux and KLites are mostly mindless and care less - kiasu... tapi it's still my home.

p.a.i.n.f.u.l

been quite for all this time due to emo weather uncertainties...feel as if i'm exploding but at the same time in a time bomb, still ticking and awaiting its final countdown to blow...

P . A . I . N. f . U . L

just to let you know guys, i'll be away for a week to amsterdam. just before raya. to mend my sorrows, to breathe some new air and perhaps surveying a place to study and pursue my Masters..at least i know the meaning of a true survivor..living alone in a far away land. always been my dream to study in the UK.

imagine being alone in a country that blows 5 - 10 degree celsius plus rain occasionally...paying in Euros instead of Ringgit...yeah! i will survive!!! go go me!!

for all of you who commented on my previous entry, thank you. really appreciate your good faith. i just need some space to be alone...that's all.
