Wooh!
What a splurge, baybee...!
This kinda splurging on my worldly things was so satisfying it felt like another personal achievement. I have vowed NOT to use my credit cards. I've been thru shits to settle the satanic debts that kept on mounting each time on my new hunger and lust towards my worldly things. But Alhamdulillah all those debts were history now. Fooh! I can announce that I don't have that luxury of buying a-la setan. Wahahahah~@! Syaitonirrojim sungguh kad kad itu!
I used cash instead. Cold. Hard. Cash! I've already had an A Budget for two items:
1. The about time to buy a walauweh superb and handsome headphone for my Sony mp3 player
2. Work shoes since I've thrown 2 pairs of them in a bin due to the burokness (beyond repair, ler) of them, and most of the other pairs are worn out and need to be repaired.

Yesterday morning, my breakfast was done at the humble home of Nenek. I just loved one Nasi Lemak err..Tets (terpaksa disensor kerana agak lucah disebut) and their Nasi Kerabu mantaps just at my kampung's junction in front of Mofaz Luxury cars showroom. This time I bought a yummy Nasi Dagang and two Nasi Lemak Tets for Nenek and Kak Sa, her maid.
Due to my err hilang ingatan, Deeba, my beautiful cousin was in the house as she was on school holiday. Adee meanwhile was smartly dressed with Mark & Spencer's as if going for work. Only that he was attending his COSH classes that morning, "a mock-up meeting" he said while going out.
Lucky me, Deeba was on non-rice diet. While having this idea for so long (splurging for the two items) I asked nenek if I could bring Deeba to accompany me. She said ok since Nenek's house was filled with buruh men repairing the house and dust all over.
My first intention was to buy a pair of the newly arrived Clarks. It will cost me nearly RMX. I know, I know. I'm not as rich as some of you to buy a pair of Manolos or Choos. RMX cash to me is big, man! I chose One Utama as they have lotsa choices. Well, I still love The Curve for the minimalist and practical aspect of it. But yeah, Deeba was already given all go by Auntie Enon and we went to OU's new wing.
The usual women reaction on splurging was not to go the the intended shop (Clarks) but to go to the other shops first just because we need that assurance that Clarks was the best choice of shoes. Well, at least for yours truly. So I went to lotsa shops, saw them, tried them on, saw their prices and wallah! I bought four pairs instead of one, below my original budget.
Lucky me as the shops that I went, offered some discounts (up to 70%!) Whoohooo~@! I was so happy for my achievement (if you only knew of my satanic splurging history) that I gave Deeba some upah for being patient with her older cousin's antics and songels for emm...let's see, alah! for 5 hours aje!
Meanwhile the budget covered a pair of good walauweh, superb headphone too! I went to one electronics shop and was fidgeting to buy either Sony's or Philip's. I'm not a brand loyalist as I go for what I think best in terms of practicality, performance and style. Sony's a bit cheaper but unfortunately they don't sell the size and the specs that I wanted. Sony's chord are 3m long too long for my gantung lanyard mp3 player.
So I bought Philips' as it fitted my own SIRIM Standard. It came with a 1.2m chord, an airplane adapter, flexible rubber ear hooks, 3-way adjustment for my own personalized fit and the most mantaps spec was its 75% Active Noise Canceling device. Cool innit?
And guess what? As I said it without penat nor muak, I dunno why number 5 kept on popping in my life as if my real lucky number. This headphone's model number is 5500! As if, it was screaming, "I'm meant for you!" This too had a 10% discount!
I ended up splurging on 5 items! 1 pair of headphone and 4 pairs of comel work shoes! ALL under the allocated budget! Whoohooo~@! (Already patted my back on job well done) Success!
Oh yeah. These were my other two pairs...(Sic!)
P/s: Dilot adek, while shopping for these, I did window shopping on new born clothing stores, including that potato-something, osh kosh, baby gap, guess, chicca and loads more! Seriously, you've more than what you've asked for! I can't wait to get some for Chomel! Already had in mind what I wish to buy...insyaAllah!
