+..Pra-Majlis Kawen 2..+

Okay...

This MUST be THE MOST Exhausting Thing to do!!
uhuhuh hopefully! tak larat den dah!

Last Saturday, 19th - 20th April was the most excruciating painful heels to me. All gals party mom included was in a hunt for Dilot's wedding gown. Well, not exactly a gown (I wish there are some Muslims Wedding Jilbab anywhere in Klang Valley!) but we were browsing and hunting the streets of Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman for Dilot's theme colour - Chocolat (plus a lil gold & cream).

You see, what was shown in a Malay Wedding Mag, does not necessarily means that what they have shown 4 weeks back were actually on their exact location
(example: Wisma Selangor - now where the heck is Wisma Selangor anyho?) After a frantic call to the supposedly boutique owner, he apologised and said that they have moved to Ampang and the shop was closed on Sunday! Great Businessman!! (Read: Will go bankrupt soon)

So there we were, stranded in a middle of a Semua House back alley, sweating profusely in a scorching heat and with sore feet (must i say it nearly bleed?)

Plan B:

Go and find any bridal houses available at Jln Tuanku Abdul Rahman
and anywhere that the heels can tahan radius. First shop we went in, my eyes caught the most beautiful cloth exactly like Dilot's theme colour but err..it must be custom-tailored to Dilot's desired as seen as in the bridal mag jilbab.

"look auntie, like this eh..exactly like *this*"

The cost?
DO NOT ASK!!

But it surely was one beautiful and rich cloth, chocolat + gold + cream!!

When she finally being measured and consulted by the tailor auntie, we have to backtrack to where we started early morning as my newly bought pretty scarves (not to mentioned not that cheap, ok?) were lost unnoticed (while I was busy looking for the AWOL/ MIA Bridal shoppe). Thankfully it was left in one snobbish & rude bridal peripherals shop (ada ke ayat nih) Huh!...

After looking around for the right wedding scarf (which cannot be found within the radius mentioned), and after a hearty ol' Capitol lunch, mom retired to SOGO with Dilot to shop for her gifts to Anas Iswari. Soon, Taro and I was doing the same, but I was really attracted to a pair of beautiful strappy high heels but sturdy shoes...Yes. I've parted with nearly RM300 for a pair of good quality leather shoes (ok, so it was not THAT expensive, you say)

No Offense, but Vincci has failed me every month. They were nice and lady like with ribbons or suede, but hey! the heels broke every now so often! Every farkin 3-4 weeks as I walk alot! I'm not used to enlarging my BeHind Read: doing desk work 8am-5pm...so...I'd rather hunt for a good quality stylo shoes that tahan my fast walks (I can even run with this baby...)

So there.

At last, even tho I tried to avoid shopping complexes with all my might, I finally succumbed to my internal voice (err nafsu actually). But hey! I bought it with cash, lor! uhuhuh!! Abah said his platinum cards were not used (as often as I do, if I have credit cards) as he hates having outstandings...(but 'scuse me Abah, I did pay my own credit cards?). How I wish I can spend all those money (err credit) and by having a multi rich bf la kan...uhuhu!!

Imagine ler, having Hermes travel bag, LV seasonal handbags, Mizrahi's heels, all those outdoor gears - North Face, Miller, Ophrey, Columbia, Timberland, Keen, Vasque!! Arghh!!! Well...thats the Satanic Part of me (aka shopping mercilessly with borrowed time and money). I love exuding good image. Whether in the office or when I'm doing outdoors. In between? Eheh, You might see me in a simple t-shirt and jeans or slack.

Okay. STOP day-dreaming. I still have to rehearse prudent spending.

Note to self:
I miss Bieboe. Why lah I was so emotionally drawn to my self monologues and ASSumptions? But the best part was him having to say that he loves me...lalallalalaaaa

That seems to be one adventure you had hunting for the wedding gown. SO fun! I just wish my Kaklong would marry asap so I can join in all the excitement!

Nway Vincci shoes are flimsy. Tak tahan lama. Nak pakai for dinner functions kejap2 takpe, but on a daily basis memang unreliable.

I trust my Clarks for life. :)
