i feel i'm at home to the warm embrace of sabah. the feeling which has been developed since last night knowing that i'll be flying to Sabah cannot be described in words. that familiar terrain and rivers enticed me and provoked my longing. the only thing absent now is my family. the family has moved to KL and that lives me hollow. I can't say that i'm truly glad they moved to KL because that very microscopic cell of me, i still prefer KK to KL. i still am but at the same time, i want my family with me. Selfish? Perhaps...
I'm in Sandakan now. She greeted me with her sunkiss light, wind and air. Sabah hotel is a nice place to stay but i do miss my swimming buddies, fauzan, Fatihah, ima n Farina. Without them, all those strokes are useless and no fun. I'm particularly alone eventhough i'm not lonely. Here all the Puteris are friendly but i'm not into politics much. The ST Pengarah treated us seafood dinner near Karamunting. A nice restaurant which kept their fish captivated in real sea! If only I can share this experience, drinking Earl Grey Tea on top of a hill overlooking the sea at House of Agnes Keith while shopping about town, buying those dried shrimps and fish for my hardworking staff back in Shah Alam. Ogy! I owe you one!
I was busy socialising and digging The Puteris' activities (such as staying in 5-star hotel fully sponsored, this Dato' and prominent figures visiting them blahdiblahs), with intermittent heavy and noisy rain.
I'm back at the hotel in the business centre trying to save the 35MB presentation file that was wrongly saved in the network drive. I think i better stop now since this broadband has been a lifesaver, my dial-up in the room meanwhile is probably still slothing...
Need my rest anyho after the evening's swim...hope everything goes well tomorrow for The Puteri's presentation on electrical safety.
Till then, salam Sabahan!
