Life is like a roller coaster. And you know what? I thrive on roller coasters!
My apologies as I havent blog a thing when I got back to KL. Well, you see I just finished reading my Da Vinci Code which I bought at the airport while waiting for my delayed flight to JB last Sunday (12th June). JB was a let down. My life revolves in between room 941 and the seminar room downstairs. I even had my dinner alone tru the in-room dining. Bo-ringggg…(well you can say there were no good looking, charming guys to gawk and switch business cards with ahahhaa).
Last Wednesday (June 15) was a thrill ride up to Genting with Dilot and Taro (as I promised to bring these two sisters to have fun in Genting). The purpose? To try all the thrill rides there including the famous Flying Coaster. whOhhhOoo~@!
We reached Genting around 9ish in the morning. We have paid RM23 each for the outdoor park. It was a major turn down at first as Space Shot and Dragon Coaster were closed for *maintenance*. We tried the slow-mo go kart instead and tried the cork screw roller coaster. It was not enough, as it was not as much adrenaline pumped to my veins as I’ve anticipated. We strolled around the park to venture and sight seeing.
Dilot, Taro and I ate corn in a cup and watch *Hindustan* movie around us. Yup. You read it right. *Hindustan* movie because there were like a group of Indian nationals who acted like they were in some *Hindustan* movie. Hahah! Absurd you say? That was what transpired that day. A young Indian couple was having their great time in Genting Highlands, Malaysia (I do not know probably because of the *climate*). The guy actually carried his gal in his arms; you know like that newly married Caucasian couples usually do when they want to bring their brides in the room? Ahuh, to shag, exactly. Oh! Please…we are all adults here (I hope). They were acting like nobodys business, making havoc and cutting queue just because part of their group was in front of us.
Apa lagi aku kutuk la derang ngan bahasa melayu, “excuse me…excuse me…!” they were asking permission for us to let them pass? **** you d*** head! Ske ske je aku nak kasik, ha? Nak, balik India la…ni Malaysia…ada undang-undang…masa derang ckp English ngan aku, aku buat tak faham je muahahahha…and buat tak reti, tak bagi derang potong aku. *evil*…yeahh~@! Exercising one’s right here, ok?
Well anyway, after riding the giant swing, we went back to Space Shot (vertical fall from lets see erm…5 floors high?) to try our luck. It was finally *open*. Maybe it was closed as they (the maintenance ppl) thought there would be no crowd that day. wHohOo~@! I should admit. I’m a virgin with Space Shot. So this really made my adrenaline sky high. I was all excited and cannot wait to experience the vertical fall. Taro retreated to just watching us. She was not prepared with the Space Shots horror ehehhe *grin*
Dilot and I had to share the Indian tourist clan for this noble ride *eheheh*. We had to face the lower ground (because Space Shot was built on a higher ground). So, imagine the adrenaline rush, to watch the people down there, tiny eeny weeny ppl! Once the machine went up, taller than any building there, we were given a few seconds to breathe properly. Then, ktangggg! It fell down…..down…and fast! I am actually experiencing how suicidal ppl jump off a building that moment. It was FAB! And I craved for another fall!!
Next, rombongan roller coaster Mak Kiah went to experience the *baby*…Flying Coaster! It cost us RM10 each as it was not included in the outdoor package. Around this time, the area was covered by a thick fog, man! We cannot really see 200 meter ahead of us and the weather was quite damp. It was indeed cold. This flying coaster requires us to ride it vertically, meaning that it was in a group of 4 compartments, each came to us vertically…then after making sure that all harness are buckled safely, we started to *fly* horizontally. We flew up, down, loops, back flip, front flip whoohoo! You should join us there to experience the out of the world experience. It really felt like flying…and we even had our picture on it snapped digitally (another 10 bux there). We tried nearly every thrill rides and even rode the giant swing thrice! (No need to queue). We called it a day when the tummy dept was screaming to be filled with KFC fried chicken. We had 2 rounds of bowling before hitting the steep road again. We had fun and my veins are filled with pumped adrenaline. Before we reached home, I made a diversion to Gombak for some yummy Nasi Ayam Mencongkam for dinner.
Err, that dinner turned to be my breakfast the morrow morning as I slept tak hengat dunia punya after performing maghrib prayer. Ehehhe terbang cam roller coaster la Isya’ aku ek? I guess, I was down tired due to my age kot :)
