Later that nite, Zura and I was highly anticipating the karaoke session~ all 8 cds…ranging from Sheila Majid’s, Peter Pan’s and a few compilations. Bet, Azam and Farih was the BBQ cooks and the smell from BBQ really made me hungry. Oza marinated the chicken, humongous cuttlefish (my fave) and fish. There were also hotdogs in sticks!! Kak Yam cooked two different nasi goreng. We started to (officially) eat dinner after one Dato’ Yusof came as a special guest. He was a retired ambassador and has a resort another 15 km from D’Pangkalan. Well, what mattered to me was the food; as I was so-oo hungry I could eat a horse. I ignored the formalities by eating it with muke toye. Mmg tak bleh bawak majlis nyer aku nih..muahahha….~@!
After the formal dinner, Zura initiated the idea of karaoke-ing. We were a bit shy- shy cat at first to start off singing due to Dato’s presence. But then, initially, I provoke Zura and she sang Aku Cinta Padamu, the whole Sheila’s cd and the Peter Pan’s. Then suddenly, Bet made an announcement to stop the singing and turn off the light. During this time, a cake was brought and I was so blushed and so-oo happy. Really appreciated my Tekadtles’ effort to celebrate my burfday here..uhuhu…we even had ice-cream and frog bubbles (ala buih2 sabun blown from air sabun, using a katak-like device as blower)…yep! Whatta burfday celebration…considering age is nearing 30..uhuhukkk…so terharuuu awwww…this was one of the best burfday ever during my adult age. My previous burfdays were all flops, down the drain and sadness...hmm…Thank you Tekadtles :- Oza, Azura, Azam, Bet, Farih, Metesh, Wong, Aizan, Azlan, Norma and Inas (she’s now doing umrah and miss her so much!) :(
