I was really knackered, man!
I drove the mojo jojo team to Summerset Rompin, a fantabulous hide-away located near Kuala Rompin for a 6 hours treasure hunting. Well, we got ourselves the consolation prize money, but hey! We had a blast and that mattered the most!
The treasure hunt itself was fun as we had 5 checkpoints that required continuity to each sets of questions. I 've never been to Kuala Pilah, Mansah, Ulu Bendol, Batu Kikir, Jemapoh and places in Negeri Sembilan except Seremban and PD. This treasure hunt opened my eyes and taste buds for its natural beauty, traditional houses, Teratak Za'ba and L. E.M.A.N.G with its extra hot and spicy Rendang Ayam Negeri Sembilan! Wow! I also got a chance to see for myself the unique dragon fruit tree. It looked like a cactus tree with helicopter blades. The taste? Schweet Smacking good!...
6 hours later (we started around 745 am), we finished the last treasure hunt questions and checked in. Had another lemang and rendang ayam feast before we hit the pool. At first the people intended to play water polo, but after failing to secure a single goal, my team (close to 8 players) decided to play water rugby with the 4 stronger team instead. Haahahaha...and I got few chances to wrestle the ball from the other team. Bear in mind that there were only 3 gals.
My apartment consist of a living room and a kitchennette, sliding doors that opened up to a king size bed, 2 balconies overlooking the sea, a long bath with floor to ceiling giant mirror, two modern see-thru wash basins and a see-thru shower room. Woohh@! I just wish my baby was there! ahahaha notty notty me. The only minus was we could only make mobile phone calls near the beach as there were no reception inside. PLUS: I never miss the chance to watch Germany vs Portugal that Saturday night! PRICELESS!
The night of that Hunters themed dinner, the hunters were feasted by the hungry mosquitoes instead. Our table won a game (in 10 mins, to find sunnies, 5 sen, staff card, driving license bla bla). They continued the night with a *scary* night walk and a camp fire (which i slept all tru the activities...)
Meanwhile the next morning after few laps of breast stroke and freestyle, I continued my blissful sleep (cos my roommate was out for her jungle trekking). Well previously before she went out, she asked me to accompany her to see sunrise at the beach (at 630am!!!). By 11 am, i was already at the Veqish Spa located at one of the marvellous villas to experience the Sauna, Luk Pra Kop and a Swedish whole body massage. The 2.5 hours pampering by Elcee (my masseuse) was heavenly unnoticed and the mojo jojo team was fuming mad looking everywhere for me. I just L.O.V.E.D the soft instrumental song, the ambience, the fragrant smell and well, err my masseuse can even turn me on wahahahahahah~@! Lucky I am not a lesbo. and Lucky my scweet Mr X was not there. Notty tots there, muahahah~@!
Heck! You have to give the driver (me, of course) her rejuvenation and revitalise her tired muscles, right? So my eyes were wide opened until we reached the boring Muadzam Shah - Bukit Putus Area. Had to give the steering wheel to Nambo, had to peel my eyes as he eventually forgot to slam in the brake while busy giving us his sight seeing tour to his family houses in Kuala Pilah. So, the massage took effect few hours later...at home by 830 pm...i was comatose til the next morning.
Summerset Rompin is a DEFINITE place to unwind....a DEFINITE place to romance with your loved one and a DEFINITE place for a family affair. I recommend you guys to go and enjoy yourself there.
+..me..+
