+..About Motivation Part 3..+

Case 3:

Kitorang ada pertandingan perbarisan untuk rumah sukan Sabtu lepas. It was quite frustrating at first as one of my own “team mates” made up her mind to opt out (together with the mutually-decided-in-a-meeting-assigned tasks). We were totally short handed. What made things worse was she poisoned other people to abandon ship. Akulah yg email all the heads, akulah yg pi mintak duit kat ED (banyak tu nak kena mintak), akulah pi beli barang, akulah pi contact mascot kat luar, akulah pi ngadap all the heads mintak duit laaagiii, akulah yg kena jadi koreografer, humangaiii!!! Semua akulah yg kena buat. Sejak bila pulak aku jadik machai nih? Uhuhu…memang stress tahap Babun Giler, I tell you!

Further more I was only in the office on Tuesday (with all the reports need to be sent, clients to entertain). The rest I was outstation and attended 2-days training. Gilo apo? Fuhhh lucky The Boss (sepatotnye dia Kapten, tapi dia pass kat aku) understood the situation and motivated me. He asked for CMST group to help and the words spread among the other sections (1 house consists of 7 sections). While he did this, I pleaded other sections personally to join us. Other sections followed thru and be part of the team almost immediately. I was elated! We worked hand in hand to practise the hand poco-poco, choreographed by Romal, gathered ideas and segregated the tasks together to all sections related.

I was not the one who gave things up easily and took it as a personal challenge. We were all in 1 team spirit. I took the courage to email (on behalf of my house captain) the office to say “The other teams have already beating their war drums! Jangan rasa tergugat dengan bunyi2 provokasi mereka! We have practiced so hard and will reformat and refresh semangat dan motivasi berjuang kita. LAWAN TETAP LAWAN!! Our practice location is a secret (Muahahaha..!) at 5 pm. Watch out for my next email in Yellow (Rumah aku la ni) Paraders’ mailboxes!! We will surprise everyone in the marching competition later!”

Ha! Engkau…peduli apa aku protocol tak protocol, bahasa bercampor2 ke apa…Semua org baca emel aku termasukle Biggest Boss (tapi rumah sukan lain yg start dulu, aku bagi pihak je kannn). And then, masa hari Sabtu tu, suara aku lah yg paling kuat sekali…habis pompom yg aku buat bersepah2 disebabkan keganasan sorakan aku…hehehe…

And you know what? I felt so accomplished when the MC announced that we won the Marching competition…A prove that its better to work in a dynamic team rather than working alone. A prove that I worked best when I stressed out, when I was challenged and when people like that LoudMouth did nasty things towards me! Hmm..susah rupanya nak lead and motivate other people nih!! Lead and motivate kucing lagi seronok!!
