+..About Motivation Part 1..+

Dear Blog,

It’s been awhile that I haven’t blog anything about my on-goings. I’ve been tied up and down for a lot of happenings here in the office. I mean A LOT!!! My energy was drained to a subzero!

Case 1:

I think I need to take up a course on motivation and later be certified for a trainer/ motivator. For the past weeks, the morale down here was pretty low. First and foremost 2 of my staff were transferred to two different sections and 1 of them cried her heart out. She whined about how unfair my Boss treated her by hiding the truth about her being transferred. What she didn’t know was that my own Boss was trying to ask for the transfer himself as he can’t stand the pressure. This is totally one HOT and PRESSURIZED section in the entire office!!

What I told the whining and crying staff was, “Ms. Dee, we are sad that you have to go but you should see that another door of opportunity is opened. Just look at it that you can grow, do things which challenges you, mentally and physically. You can be promoted if you really work hard for it, insyaAllah. “

She cried harder…saying that why on earth the Boss himself did not talk to her like I did. So I said, “Ms. Dee do you know that The Boss himself wanted to be transferred elsewhere? All of your Execs tried to talk things out with him and begged ED to retain his position? We ourselves need to motivate the Boss…”

[Paused]

“Do you know that you received praises from Koona and Kai, the people who used to scold you previously?”

“ Aik? Really? Why..?”

“They praised you in front of the Management that your job went smoothly and without any glitches”

Ms. Dee suddenly burst out laughing as she couldn’t believe what I’ve just said.

“Then you should ask the Boss himself whether I’m speaking the truth…” She was already smiling ear to ear when I said this. She is now happily working 17 blocks away from us. Uhuhuhu!

And I dunno how else to motivate the section for our shorthanded. Maybe I should bitch about it to the Boss on how they came up with the HR Audit "solution" by cutting our manpower WITHOUT telling us - imagine how demoralised our staff was when they received their *verdict* for transfer just after a week or two of the so-called HR audit? They promised to deliver the audit findings as though we received major NCR but Fark! What NCR? We have never even seen it!!..But the damage was done and we were farking angry!! As an office bitch, I proposed that the other non-HR related sections to audit the HRA section back!!! Bloody dysfunctional section!!! a yesman section!!! Argh!!!

Note:-

The person-in-charge (pic) for HRA audit have met my boss and left the room with wet cheeks. To think about it, why must she confronted my Boss? Where was her own Boss where she got the recommendation approved from? You know what her Lady Boss said? "Yeah...this is ALL HER FAULT, I will let her know her mistake and instruct her to see you" What kinda a bloody boss is this? Since my own Boss was already hyped and motivated, he met this pic's immediate and superior bosses (where they decided without proper channels to cut our staff) to confront and dig the whole truth. Hmm..kan best ada boss yg menyiasat ke akar umbi? Bukan jenis angguk-angguk, geleng-geleng? Goooo--ooo Boss!! You got my back!
